Privacy Policy

NeatlySpent ("we") helps you track credit card benefits and find card-linked offers. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, a session cookie and, if you set them, a display name and timezone.
  • Cards you add: the card product, an optional nickname, the last four digits if you choose to enter them, and the benefit usage you log. We never ask for full card numbers.
  • Wishlist text: the plans you type are processed by an AI model to extract merchants, amounts and dates so we can match offers. The text is stored with your account.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, outbound clicks on card application links (for affiliate attribution) and anonymous ratings or comments, protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limits.
  • Optional bank connection (premium, coming later): if you connect an account through Plaid, we receive transaction data to match statement credits automatically. You can disconnect at any time and we delete the data.

How we use it

To show you your benefits and offers, to send the notification emails you opt into, to recommend cards, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data.

Sharing

We use Cloudflare (hosting, email delivery, bot protection), OpenAI (offer extraction and wishlist parsing, no account data beyond the text you type) and Plaid (only if you connect a bank). Card issuers and affiliate networks receive only what happens on their own sites after you click an application link.

Your choices

You can change or turn off notifications in Settings or with the unsubscribe link in any email, delete cards and wishes at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@neatlyspent.com.
